Subscription Doctor is a personal organizer for recurring charges. It is not financial, tax, investment, or banking advice. Totals are estimates based on the information you enter. The app is an independent product and is not affiliated with Apple, any bank, or any subscription service provider.

Subscription Doctor is built around local storage. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information We Collect
Subscription Doctor does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location inside the app to use core features. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Subscription and trial entries you add (names, amounts, intervals, dates, usage notes, status)
- Preferences such as preferred currency and soft monthly cap
- Triage history, savings events, playbook progress, and trial decision logs you create
- Optional notification and prep preferences you enable
- Widget / Live Activity snapshot data shared on-device via Apple App Group for Home Screen and Lock Screen features
Optional Photo Access
If you choose receipt or screenshot import, the Application may access photos you select. Text recognition runs entirely on your device using Apple’s on-device frameworks to prefill charge details. Images are not uploaded to our servers — we do not operate a remote OCR service.
Notifications & Live Activities
If you enable round reminders or trial Live Activities, those features use Apple’s system frameworks on your device. We do not receive the content of your notifications or Lock Screen activities on our servers.
How We Use Information
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to profile, share, or sell. All features — Rounds, Roster, Triage, Trials, Chart, and Stacks — operate using data stored on your device.
Data Storage & Retention
Content remains in the Application’s private storage on your device (and the on-device App Group used for widgets). There is no cloud sync and no remote backup operated by us. Deleting the Application permanently removes associated local data from your device.
Third-Party Services
Subscription Doctor includes no third-party analytics, advertising networks, or marketing SDKs. Opening the App Store link from this website uses Apple’s App Store; that experience is governed by Apple’s policies.
Children’s Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because personal data is not collected or transmitted to us, the app aligns with COPPA and similar standards for general audiences.
Your Control
You can edit or delete charges, clear demo data, change preferences, or uninstall the Application at any time to remove stored content from your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. The core commitment — local storage, no accounts, no sale of personal data — will not change without clear notice.
